We enjoyed beautiful weather and a sweet Easter service at St. James Episcopal Church. Before the service there was time for baking "Resurrection Buns" and visiting with friends in the courtyard...

Everyone brings fresh flowers to decorate a cross in front of the church to commemorate Jesus' Resurrection. What a beautiful and meaningful way for children to acknowledge the REASON we celebrate Easter! I loved this and so did our lover of flowers, Elle.

Seeing special friends Benjamin and William was a treat for Elle too. These are 2 of the sweetest boys we know! The kids got to hunt Easter eggs before Mass.

A weekly occurrence now, Elle loves to climb the trees after Mass! Its so cute to see her climbing trees in her ruffles and bows.

After church we had a lovely brunch complete with a GeeGee bunny cake! Thank you for all of your help putting together our lovely meal GeeGee and DaDaDa. Justin and Victoria joined us for lunch too and I didn't get their picture, I'm sorry! Elle has a little crush on Justin and she talked about him for days after they were here.

Ahhh...a Mother/Daughter Moment..."another holiday survived"...yes, a success indeed! Time to put our feet (paws?) up! (this picture taken by budding new photographer, Elle Corinne)
"and when they did not find his body, they came
back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels,
who said that
HE WAS ALIVE"
