In May we enjoyed Elle's very first DANCE RECITAL! The girls in the three year old class entertained us with a tap routine to the song "Music, Music, Music". They practiced hard and once onstage, they all moved and tapped to the music and the best part was watching the "new routine" they came up with. It was a little like the choreography, but also very different! Every time Elle came up from her "flash trick step" where she has to touch the stage she dusted her hands off--our little girl doesn't like dirty hands even if its part of the dance. She smiled pretty and looked out at the audience confidently. For their stage exit, all the girls were to waive to the audience. I begged Elle all week long to blow Mommy a kiss on her way off the stage...our secret message to each other. During dress rehearsal, she didn't blow me a kiss...but on Saturday when she was walking off the stage she blew ME a kiss, and then a second one! Oh, I just died! It was the sweetest moment!
Elle, we are so proud of you! You did a great job but most importantly, you did your BEST and you had such a great time. You made special friends this year and you carry yourself like such a sweet little lady. Dance is a great fit for you and we are so happy you love it so much.
Love,
Mommy & Daddy
