She's crawling! On June 14, when Elle was exactly 8 months old, I give her credit for becoming a "crawler". She finally figured out the coordination with all four limbs and began to crawl throughout the house without letting her little mid-section sag or drop down as it had until then. She makes tracks! And, once she figured that out, on the same day I found her pulling up to a standing position by furniture...
One week later, she was crawling around her Daddy on the floor and pulled herself up to standing...then she let go! She stood there next to Cory for 5 seconds. When she fell down on her cushiony diaper, she laughed out loud and then stood up again, and let go! She did that over and over again all evening. She even tried to take a step this week. It will not be long until our little baby girl is a "walker"! Please, Elle, slow down...what's the rush?

She wants you to miss baby days so much that you get her a brother or sister! She can wait a while though! The time between 6 months and 2 years is my favorite. They seem to learn so much all at once. I loved working with that group in daycare the most!
Thank you Cyndia; she has changed dramatically since turning 7 months old. It is amazing and now she's so independent and mobile!
