Howdy Days

It's the first day of summer break and we are having some time to really talk. Elle was asking me about things I did when I was a little girl...

Elle:
"...is that how it was when you were growing up? In the Howdy Days? When it was really hot?"

Me (laughing):
"No, Elle, when I was growing up it was pretty similar to today. It was modern times. And we had air conditioning."

Elle:
"oh, so maybe more like when DaDaDa was growing up it was the hot Howdy Days?"

Me:
"yes, more or less..."
