Thanksgiving 2011 Part 2

Nonni joined us for our holiday at the beach. (I'm realizing I take pictures of her with my good camera, not phone...but I promise she was there!) She and Elle played while Cory and I enjoyed a rare treat...a date! We rode bicycles on the seawall and had happy hour at Casey's. We both enjoyed our afternoon so much!


That night Cory decided to see if he could persuade the front desk clerk to upgrade our room...his $20 bill was quite persuasive and we moved up to the Presidential Suite!


















Also while at The Galvez, we went on a ghost hunt. Many stories surround the spirits from the hotel's past. Cory and Elle donned white sheets to encourage possible sightings. We spoke with the manager and security guard who recounted great stories. The guard was truly frightened of the hotel basement. We were given a key to the room with the most sightings on the 5th floor I believe. Such a fun place to explore!
The huge dining rooms also serve as wonderful places to test drive a new toy!
