Ash Wednesday
Being new to Episcopal traditions, last night was our first Ash Wednesday service. Elle had no idea why we walked up to Father Doug and let him wipe black smudgy crosses on our foreheads (two-heads!). She thought that was hilarious. It was a beautiful and symbolic service preparing us for the somber Easter season.
