you must go on a trip for New Year's!

Cory took his girls-Lovey included (Hux stayed at the GeeGee spa)-to the Stonebriar for New Year's Eve weekend. We had a nice time together relaxing after a full and blessed holiday season. He treated us to breakfast in bed both mornings and our big outing was to the Gaylord Texan Hotel's Ice! Exhibit featuring all the Whos of Whoville and the Grinch himself.

We were all issued these blue parkas because it is -9 degrees in the ICE! Exhibit. Look at Elle's frozen smile below. After we saw all of the Whoville ice exhibits the event closes with the biblical Christmas story scripture reading over the sound system and a beautiful ice nativity scene. As you can see, this whole hotel is a winter wonderland!
The final order of business for our Welcome 2010 Weekend was to take Daddy out to celebrate his new partnership. We ate at a great restaurant in Plano called Jasper's. Check it out if you are in the area. Fine dining with a family friendly upscale atmosphere. In other words, no dirty looks for bringing our well behaved 3 year old out for a fancy dinner! : )

The new picture at the top is so great! Did you take that? Wow!
Hi Pretty Mama! Yes I did indeed take that picture! And, thank you. It was one of those serendipitous moments when she had a pleasant expression, the camera was within reach and the lighting was perfect! Just get ready ; ) You will want to sharpen your photography skills too because nothing provides artistic inspiration like your own precious baby. I am so excited for you!!
Love,
S
