Elle's Summer...Long Post!

Now that fall is upon us, I found it fitting to recap the fun summer that was Elle's Second. We enjoyed...

Memorial Day in Port Aransas, a wedding in Arkansas,

visits with all 3 great grandparents, and a trip to Dallas including a visit to the Lighthouse...

1st Vacation Bible School, Swimming Lessons in Austin and a weekend trip to The Woodlands

...we even wrangled a crawfish right in our own kitchen!

We celebrated GeeGee's birthday at Lake Degray...and then...
our final act of summer was to celebrate Cousin Andrew's 1st Birthday!

We spent the weekend in Houston, where Elle learned that a Pack-n-Play is made for 2; posed with FEMA search and rescue teams helping in Gustav's wake; and found that sitting at a picnic table sharing cupcakes with your best friend makes for a very fun day.

In between all of that fun, we found time for lots of dressing up and finger painting...oh, and napping in a tent is way more fun than in bed! Thank you Elle for making every day an adventure of smiles!
